Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has pledged to adopt the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Prime Minister Sharif stated that he had already passed national legislation on child abuse, child pornography, and enhancing the minimum age of criminal liability. He commended the UN and NGO’s for their help on this issue.
