Aqsa Parvez’s father Muhammad and brother Waqas were sentenced to life in prison with no eligibility for parole for 18 years: the two Parvez men pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in court in Brampton, Ontario, to strangling 16-year old Aqsa Parvez in a December 2007 “honor killing”.
