Honor violence cases are on a rise in the US. Through their line of work, more and more professionals provide services to girls and women who are affected by honor-based violence and abuse. Because of the distinctive nature of honor violence, specific training is necessary for professionals to properly identify victims and successfully handle these cases. This training can make a difference in the lives of thousands of women and girls. The AHA Foundation provides training to law enforcement, educators, shelters, service providers and other organizations working to protect women and girls. All trainings are free. They are made possible by generous contributions from our supporters. For more information about how to register for the training program and take the courses, visit FAQ.
