Honour killing’ of a Coventry woman featured in TV documentary

A powerful documentary will feature the case of a Coventry (UK) woman murdered in an “honour killing” by her in-laws: the hour-long documentary, The Honour Killers, will present the case of 28-year-old Surjit Athwal who was killed after being accused of breaching family honour, and will focus on the abuse and violence suffered by women in Britain’s Punjabi community.
