Widespread Support for Banning Full Islamic Veil in Western Europe
Majorities of those surveyed in France (82%), Germany (71%), Britain (62%), and Spain (59%) are supportive of a burqa ban, but most Americans oppose such a measure, with just 28% approving and 65% disapproving.
