UK Develops App to Combat FGM

An app has been created in the United Kingdom to help girls at risk of female genital mutilation (FGM) learn more about ways to get help. The app was developed by a team at Coventry University along with the help of local schoolchildren. The app is called “Petals” and is also thought to be useful as an educational tool about FGM.
