Campaign To End Child Marriage In S. Sudan Launched In Juba

Save the Children’s Country Director Mr. Peter Walsh who delivered his speech at the opening ceremony of the workshop to develop a national roadmap on ending child marriage in the country as requested by the government, told the audience that his was pleased to announce that its management will continue to support the initiative. He said that last year they launched the national campaign entitled ‘Girls are Children which is part of our wider global campaign Every Last Child’.

“We campaign to end child marriage, ensure fair financing for children and to ensure violence against girls is no longer tolerated.” Read more here:
