Additional Protections Against Forced Marriage Needed in the UK

Sajida Khan left a forced marriage years ago with her children and obtained forced marriage protection orders (FMPOs) for them in fear that their father would force them to marry in Pakistan. These FMPOs prevent the girls from getting married at any age younger than 18 and ensure that they cannot leave the UK without their mother. But Khan is still worried about her daughters’ safety .
