The AHA Foundation has released a report titled “What do we know? Facts and Figures on the circumstances affecting Muslim girls and women in the United States”: following almost a year of information collection and analysis, the AHA Foundation has found that forced marriages, female genital mutilation, and acts of honor violence and honor killings take place in the United States more often and with a greater degree of severity than is commonly assumed.
