Jordanian jailed for killing unwed pregnant sister
A Jordanian man was condemned to death on Monday for killing his sister after learning that she had become pregnant outside wedlock, but the sentence was later commuted to 10 years in jail: “the court commuted the sentence against the 24-year-old man after his family urged leniency,” a court official speaking on condition of anonymity told AFP.
