Six Gothenburg Youths in Forced Marriages

Last year, at least six youths from the Gothenburg (Sweden) area were forced into marriage against their will, newspaper Göteborgs-Posten writes. Five girls and one boy were married off; three of the girls were eighteen years old, while two girls and the boy were underage: forty girls from Gothenburg lived in protected housing last year because of threats of forced marriage.
