Telling the Story of Forced Marriages in the UK

New research shows that police and other officials are missing warning signs of forced marriage in the UK and therefore, the practice continues. There has only been prosecution for forced marriage this year, despite an estimated 1200 instances of the practice. The Independent begins a series of articles on the issue; sharing stories of those who have experienced forced marriage and calling for action.
