‘Unchained at Last’ Supports Victims of Forced Marriage
Fraidy Reiss started the organization ‘Unchained at Last’ to support victims of forced marriage after her own experience in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community. The issue of forced marriage is prevalent across the United States, where parents can sign a marriage license and waive many state’s minimum age requirement. ‘Unchained at Last’ looks to help women who are afraid of the consequences of speaking out about their experience.
