‘Westernized’ Daughter Dies After Being Run Over by Father
20-year-old Noor Almaleki of Arizona, who was run over by her father for being “too Westernized”, has died as a result of her injuries following a two-week battle for survival in the hospital: “It occurred because her not following traditional family values, we’ve been told that by everybody,” Peoria Police spokesman Mike Tellef told ABC News last month: “[Her father] felt she was becoming too westernized and he didn’t like that.”
