Petition to End Honor Violence; Reflections from Our Executive Director

unnamed

Dear AHA Foundation Supporter,

Many of you have already signed our petition to say that honor violence in the US is unacceptable. Together we will not look away from this silent epidemic that hurts thousands of women and girls, and puts millions more at risk right in our own neighborhoods. We are taking this message to Capitol Hill on October 23rd. To those of you who have already signed our petition and shared it with your networks, thank you. If you have not had a chance to sign the petition or share it with your friends, the time is now.

A year after joining the team, our Executive Director, Stephanie Baric, takes a look back and shares her reflections on her first year with the AHA Foundation, where she has continued her lifelong fight for the rights of women and girls.

I know you agree with me that there is no honor in honor violence. If you have not already, take the opportunity today to give voice to someone who has been forbidden to speak for herself. Please sign your name to our petition and ask your friends to do the same.

Thank you,
